INVESTIGATIONS
FAMILY PRESERVATION SERVICES Family Preservation services case management responsibilities include ensuring the child(ren)'s safety, protection, and well-being by reducing the risk of further maltreatment. The case manager utilizes their skills, as well as the services of professionals, paraprofessionals, community resources, and volunteers to assist the family to adhere to the case plan goals. The case manager maintains monthly contact with the child(ren), parents, and collateral contacts as specified by the client's level of risk. After the client's successful completion of the case plan goals, the case can be closed. If the risk heightens, the child(ren) may come into the custody of DFCS. TO
